A symbol of resilience, renewal, and community spirit in the heart of Fort Myers Beach. Standing tall as the only structure left after the devastating Hurricane Ian, the Legacy Tower has become a beacon of hope and a testament to the strength of our community.

After the storm, we made a decision to restore and transform the tower with the help of local artists and musicians who shared our vision of rebuilding and revitalizing our beloved island. Led by artist Stephen Clark, along with talented individuals like Lacey McClary and Summer De Salvo, the tower was transformed into a canvas of vibrant murals that tell a story of rebirth and remembrance.

The murals on the Legacy Tower pay homage to the island’s past and present, from the iconic pier to the symbolic image of baby turtles making their way back to the ocean. Each brushstroke is a tribute to the resilience of our community and a reminder of the strength that lies within us all.
